Is harder than it seems... I currently already have a laptop but it's a few years old now [It's a compaq]. I've been having some problems with the power supply lately so It's currently in the shop trying to get it fixed up. In the mean time, I have decided that I think it's time that I get a new one, on a pretty average budget. The search continues...
