Travel Day 11-15: Leyte

Hey Guys!

Not really all that much to fill you in on! We're still in Leyte where my mother grew up, she's having a blast catching up with all her siblings, her parents and other relatives! On Saturday the 9th of February was the 50th Wedding Anniversary for my grandparents [not the actual date]. I thought it was just going to be a quiet renewal of vows with all the relatives and stuff. Umm woah... It was in a big church with heaps of people! The reception... oh god there were soooo many people there! The theme was red and gold [Gold for 50th Wedding Anniversary!] Everyone was wearing gold dresses etc. [I was wearing Dark silver/grey, so I wouldn't be mistaken as one of the kids rather than grandkids [the little kids were all wearing pink]] I don't have many pictures because most of them were taken by the professional photographer so I'll have to scan them etc. but I'll do that when I finally get home!!!

This is my dad's sister, my dad, my mum, my grandparents, ME, My cousin and my dad's other sister. [This is my dad's family that we flew over from Cebu to be there on the day!]

This is just a random picture of my cousin Julianne. Isn't she adorable! [We were at the beach that day!]

This is my mum and one of her brothers [Allan] and this is the Primary School that they went to! [All that time ago! All 7 of them went to this P.S.]

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Uncle Allan and his family as they had to leave to go back to Singapore! Oh god I cried so much! I will miss them, a lot! The good news is they are in the middle of getting papers ready to hopefully come and visit Australia and hopefully migrate here, so I hope that all comes through by the end of the year!!


And just an update on the beautiful Odie, he's still adorable! He was crying till like 2am last night because he wasn't allowed inside! I felt so sorry for him!
